Privacy policy

The short version
My Interview Coach does not collect your data. There is no account, no server, and no sync. Everything you write stays on your phone.
What stays on your device
When you use the app you may write down your stories, the jobs you have applied for, notes about companies and interviewers, your salary expectations, how a day felt, and the text of your CV.
All of it is stored only in the app’s own storage on your device. It is not uploaded, not backed up to us, and not readable by us. We have no way to see it, because there is nowhere for it to go.
If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. If you lose the phone, the data is lost. The app can export a backup file for you to keep yourself, and that file goes wherever you choose to put it.
Your CV
If you scan a CV, the file is read on your phone and analysed on your phone. The file is not uploaded, and neither is anything extracted from it.
What we do collect
Nothing, with one exception.
If you buy a subscription, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat, which manages subscription receipts on our behalf. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier for your installation and the details of the purchase itself. It does not receive your name, your email address, or anything you have written in the app. RevenueCat’s own privacy policy applies to that data: revenuecat.com/privacy.
Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.
Analytics and tracking
There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, and no third party trackers. It makes no network requests of its own.
Children
The app is intended for adults preparing for job interviews and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here and the date at the top will change. Because the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a new use of your data.
